Thread: unlocking a P3 Coppermine

    Hey there, I've been searching and searching but noone has anything on unlocking the multiplier on a p3. i have a shuttle AV11 m/b and I went to 160 for the FSB, Its nice but I want more, I know the m/b can take more.. Anyways anyone know if its possible to unlock a p3??

    Nah it's not impossible... start learning how Intel makes their processors, how they lock the multipliers for example... then, on a dark night, break into an intel fab plant and make yourself an unlocked p3 :D (While your at it, I could use an unlocked P4 3.06ghz proc :D)
