I've been building comps for years but have never ventured into OC'ing.

I have some questions about a Epox 8K9A2 mobo setup.

out of XP1800-2100, would anything other than the 2100 have an advantage?

what kind of mem would you load onto this?

would the 8K9A2 mobo be the best choice for under $100US, or is there something better?

I'd look at the EPoX 8RDA+ at around $108us even though you'll need two sticks of at least PC3200 to get it workin' properly and if those CPU's are Thoroughbred B cores the get the XP2100+. :devil win

Two sticks as this mobo uses the nForce2 chipset which has dual memory channels (though it will work on one alone at reduced performance) and I leave the SBL out as this mobo has IMO a better sound setup onboard (sheesh never thought I ever type those last few words). ;)

As far as cooling wiggo, I have noticed you like the Thermaltake 7+. I would guess you would recommend that for my setup.

Also, what cases would you recommend that can be had for a reasonable price.

Yes I'm a bit of a pimp for those as they're just so hard to beat for price, performance and comfort factors. :devil win

As for the case a lot will depend on ya location in this world but I like UNEEC cases myself (sold around the world under many other names such as Antec, Chieftec, Enermax, MaCase, Thermaltake, Viking, etc, etc,..) though Lian Li (and other similar brands) make very good cases also (but outa my price range plus I rather the strenght of 1.0mm steel over that of aluminium). Be sure to make sure that the case has plenty of unhindered airflow. ;)

How do I know if the case that carries one of the brands you mentioned is a UNEEC case?

also, what kind of power supply would you recommend for this sys.
I live in Dallas, Texas btw.

Have a look around here, http://www.directron.com/cases---case-fans.html as a lot of your fellow countrymen buy from here. ;)
