    im having a problem oc'ing my ASUS A7S333. every time i try to oc it my comp starts trippin and i have to reset the BIOS. ive tryed everything that i can think of in the BIOS. plz help.

    Have ya increased the voltage to the CPU and memory (about 0.1v on both to start with but do watch ya temps)? Also my experience with Maxtor HDD's is that they don't like an o/c'd PCI bus.

    i tried incresing the voltage but each time it was the same ****. as if my reset button was constantly being pressed then i would shut off the power and i would reset the BIOS and try again:wow:

    Ok then what temps are ya runnin'? What sort of HSF plus PSU are ya usin' and brand of memory? :?:

    my HSF is an aoc and it keeps my cpu idle at 111F-115F
    PSU is 420 watts
    512mb kinsington ram

    Well if it wasn't an ASUS mobo (they usually report higher temps) I'd say that that's pretty warm as those are the sorts of temps I get under 100% load on a warm day but what is a aoc? Do ya have a link to it?

    my HSF is an aoc and i dont have a link to it. i just ordered a volcanoe 11+ kaiser edition from xoxide.com so im not worried bout the temps right now
    the temps are high cuz my comp is in a small room and there is bad air circulation in the room.:wow:

    its one of those :P and dont worry too much about your case temps mine runs 104-106F idle too (but then again i have poor airflow, and a gigabyte mobo which according to wiggo runs about 6C too hot which really makes it 95F)

    Well it's possible that heat (or the HSF itself as the link don't work but what I searched out didn't look to good) is ya enemy here if not ya HDD.

    sorry about the link not working, i made a STUPID html error, but i hate heat, period
    i guess you should get the volcano 7+ as i am, but other than that one line this is kinda :spam: (i love these "smilies")
