Thread: need help with OCing Geforce4 MX440

    I did a seached on this card and somebody recommend that I should OC at 330/500. but it keeps freezing up. Can somebody here recommend where I should set it? :shrug:

    you can do that just increase your voltage to the card (monitor your temp)

    i just OC@ 300 clock core/ 460 memory core and its working but Im wondering if I can max it out even more?

    I run mine at 310/520 but that's not sayin' that your's will do that though tryin' 5MHz steps and test after each change in settings.

    here's what i know i have on my comp
    amd xp 2200
    640 DDR 2100 Ram

    Is there anyway I can OC it to 330/500???

    Heat seems to be the prob with those settings but maybe ya need extra case airflow though I can't really say seein' as I havn't seen ya case.

    If the same case as the pic below then a fan in the side mounted over the PCI slots suckin' air in will help the video card a lot and a blowhole in the top would help even more but does it have a front intake fan and rear exhaust fan (other than the PSU's one)?
