    greetings from Winnipeg, Canada.

    Ive got 2x256mb hynix pc133 cas2 and 1x64mb hyundai pc133 cas2 ram sticks all single sided. The mobo is gigabyte ga-6vtxe-a, cpu is 1.2gig celeron(a) 100fsb 256k fcpga2.
Right now its running at 105fsb and the memory is at 140mhz according to sandra. At 110fsb the mem is at 147mhz. This is using gigabyte's easytune4.

What i would like to do is set the dipswitches to 112fsb and get rid of easytune4 but i'm worried about the memory since it would be running in the 149-150mhz range.
I did not have this dilema before since the mem ran the same as the fsb on the old board(115mhz). old:qdi advance 10b mobo/cel 950 fcpga 128k@1095mhz, same mem).
If anyone could help with any info or advice on relativly safe limits, it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and i already tried to change the mem multiplier to 1:1 but it won't boot, it seems to only work at 1:1.33

I got a 6VTX with celeron 1.2, and I only change the memory frequency to 100 mhz so when I OC the memory goes equal to FSB.

I know is other model but I don't think that exists a big different.

    Which chipset is it?

The same, VT82C694X Apollo Pro 133A System Controller.

It's rare, look in the bios, under Chipset Features Setup, there is DRAM Frequency, change it from "Auto" to "100Mhz". It should work.

I have put the FSB up to 122Mhz. But I don't recommend it

I meant how fast are u running.

I already tried the 100 instead of auto or 133, no boot.

I wonder what would be better, 1310mhz cpu @110fsb/147mhz mem or 1488mhz@124fsb/124mhz mem speed for example.

What method of oc are u using?

oh heres something interesting but off topichttp://www.datakill.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=68

I O/C with the Bios option "Hardware Monitor & MISC Setup", but I right now it's at default speed (no O/C),

I only O/C when i'm going to play or rip a DVD, but now for some reason the vid card fails a lot, the O/C works great in my last windows install, now after a clean install I can only O/C 3 o 4 Mhz, and I decided to stop doing that.

Just a note: A friend have the same MB, and his processor is a Celeron 1.0 Ghz running at 1.333 Ghz (FSB 133)

Edit: Don't forget that the pci/agp clock is also affect by the increase of the FSB, and could damage the PCI or AGP slot(s)

    Well, i did it.

1.6 gig@133fsb and stable at 30.7c, just flyin now thanks to the tt dragonorb3 7000rpm which sandra and bios say is at 7330rpm.
No need to speed up the mem, its at 133mhz. Time for testing now.
I bet the 3dmark01 score will go from 5300 to 6300 easy and thats with no oc to the card. I'll post the results soon.

    That's great. Congratulations.

    Some questions...

What are your voltages? (Core and Memory).
Another question, your current AGP speed is 1x, 2x or 4x?
Finally, do you have any device in the pci slots?

    here are the 3dmark01 resultscompare
and thats with no oc to the card yet.

Everything like the busses are at default since i used the dipswitches on the board and the mem is at default 133mhz too.
The temp is still cool at 30.3c now.

Volts are as follows 1.53 for cpu
    And 3.36 for the mem
