    Logitech mice LED mod better, but i have seen some good M$ mods too.
    Also the first M$ explorers had cable problems, but they are all fixed now.

    There should not be any side effects. Theoretically you should be able to get better resolution with a blue led (shorter wavelength) but practically you do not need it for the red has more than enough resolution. So the only effect is that it looks cool and voids any warranty :)

    In the article they are using two leds for the leds they are using have intensity that is lower than the original red one. Higher intensity blue leds are available at a considerable price but they are more elegant :)

    Yes they do :D, blue looks much better than red IMO.
    New Sig soon, old one was way outdated.
