  • plug in and play problems

    I am having plug in and play problems, firsy my harddrive wouldn't work so i thought i was the harddrive, but then i tried my digital camera that also doesn't work...any one know why my plug in and play isn't wokriung...

    Is the HD recognized in the BIOS?
    Do you have PNP OS enabled in the BIOS?

      I'm going to take a shot in the dark here.....

      Are we talking about USB devices??

      If so, make sure you have USB enabled in the BIOS and the USB drivers for your motherboard are installed.

      was I even close?

        Like I asked you on AOL, have you went and installed ya latest mobo USB drivers? It is enabled in the BIOS isnt it? Also, (note for all, the HD is a USB one)

              Also, SP1 needs to be installed to add USB 2.0 support. (I know you know, but in case someone ever has this problem, and actually uses the search function): peace2:
