  • Is this case any good?

    hey,

I orderd a case and i was wondering if i made the right desishion on this case. I was wondering if its good for cooling down my 53C gfc,is the fans in the correct place for cooling, and if its worth the $105.

I also got blur uv lights with it and sum uv reactive wire covers.I also have 5 other fans to put in it from my old case ,there all 80mm.
    heres the case: http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage....156-127-03.JPG
I was reading the reviews but they differ and not that clear.

i really like the case, looks like the Tt ones. the side panel fan will help u lower tat grafic card down cause teh fan placment is around the AGP area. 1 question, does the PSU have a bottom fan tat sucks the air in? if it doesnt, i would recommend u gettign one in the future beacuse that wil also help get some of the hot air out of the case.

great case , i may get something like that too. (i dont find my acrlyic case to be very good in cooling)

No, it doesnt right now. I was at the shop that was selling it to me and we were talking about that but i said wait till i upgrade at xmas. And im cutting a blowhole in the top with a 120mm fan, that should help alot.

try to get a top fan with the most CFM possible, u want alot of hot air to rise out ASAP. U dont need to use 1x120mm on the top, u can go with 2x80mm which i find better .

There's nothin' wrong with that UNEEC clone case as it is (it already has excellent airflow) but if ya stick a blowhole in it then ya goin' to have to upgrade the intake fans (or add another) as ya'll ruin the airflow charactoristics (I know as I did one myself but left my other 5 alone).

smokin_pc needs to do some experimentation with airflow on these cases b4 he suggests stupid things like that. :rolleyes2

clone case? its a Raidmax Scorpio and the guy told me there are no intake fans on it but theres 2 80mm fans on the back that blow out air...so i have to put 2 intake fans on the front anyways.

And im gettting a 420watt power supply, will that be enuff for 2 uv lights lights plus 7 fans and my system and a hole lot of led lights

Here's a pic to show what I mean. On the left is my Antec 1080PP with blowhole XP2200+ @ 1940MHz server and the right is my Enermax 710B XP1800+ @ 2.1GHz (both are T'breds). Notice the dust build up around the drives and the inside of the door of the server? Also the XP1800+ @ 2.1GHz runs a few degrees cooler without the blowhole that the server has though both run the exact same HSF (5 x 34cfm case fans are all that's needed). BTW both were cleaned 6 weeks ago.

                  wow,that is alot of dust.

BTW. are those cases any good for water cooling cuz i might go wit that when i upgrade?space wise and can it be easy to install

A lot of these UNEEC (the company that actually makes them) clone cases have had water coolin' added by their owners as there is plenty of room inside.
