  • AMD standard hsf's

does anyone know what kind of HSF's AMD use as standard? in particular the standard HSF for a 2500+, and if they use their own, can i find out the dB and CFM etc...?

ive looked around at their sites and tried googling no go :(

on a side note, how do you calculate total dB? i mean i have 2 case fans, plus 2 in my power supply, and a heatsink fan. surely 5x20db = 100db cant be right. anyone know how to work this out?

    thanks :)

lol, if it were 100dB you'd likely be deaf by now :)

Try this site: Has charts on dB's.

The stock Fan for my 2500+ is a delta 60mm fan which does 18.15CFM @ 28dBA.

If you write down the brand and model number of the fan, you can usually find specs on the manufacturer's website.
