Chicago has been pretty lucky, no snowfall so far, maybe .5in here and there but no accumulation :D

It was pretty chilly here the past few days. Saw it down to at least 13C.

hey, tweaker - just be grateful for the Gulf stream - I used to work in Sakhalin - that island just north of Japan in the top right hand corner of your map?
that has ice/snow for 6-9 months of the year, despite being further south than Paris equivalent, and got down to -40degC between around November-March/April.
Imagine how cold it would be around yours without the gulf stream - and pray that global warming doesnt occur as the melting icebergs will cut off the gulf stream and then europe is screwed.:eek:
