Abit NF7-S Keyboard / Mouse Problem

The above Motherboard was booting XP well until the mouse and keyboard began to malfunction. No apparent signal from either of them unless the plugs at the rear were jiggled in place. However, at some point they just froze entirely - now no signal from either, even when jiggled vigorously. Could this be a soldering problem on the motherboard? Any fixes? I like the board, and it's a shame to trash it because a mouse and keyboard don't connect !

Firstly if the mobo is still under warranty then ya could just RMA it.
Secondly I spose ya talkin' about the PS2 ports but ya could switch over to USB parts.
