    SYDNEY-January 27, 2004 - Fellow Ferrari Formula One sponsors AMD and Acer Computer Australia have joined forces for the first time in Australia and New Zealand, with Acer selecting AMD processors to power its exclusive new Ferrari 3000 notebook. The notebook features the mobile AMD Athlon(tm) XP-M processor 2500+, which packs the high-performance synonomous with the Ferrari name coupled with outstanding system battery life.



    "Acer prides itself on outstanding performance and the mobile AMD Athlon XP-M processor is the ideal engine for the powerful machine that is our new Ferrari 3000 notebook," said Raymond Vardanega, marketing director, Acer Oceanic Pacific.

    Somehow, in the last couple of years, I have entered an alternate universe where BMW makes bicycles and pedal cars, the british are 'sexing up' inteligence and an alternative band is one that signs to a major label before the lead vocalist is 19.
