Strange Noise

Hi people i have noticed a strnage noise coming from my cpu a bit of a ticking noise not very loud and seems to happen when the system is under heavy load it is a barton 2800+ with the standard retail fan that comes with it any ideas what it could be?

Doesn't sound to me like a fan issue. Are you sure it isn't comming from your hard drive?

could be, would that make more sense ? is espically noticable in 3dmark 03. also the temps do seem a little high at 52 i dunno is that right

52c isnt that hot really. i had my 2500+ at 60c under load (not oc'ed)
