  • Radeon 9200 VS Ti 4200

Uhh ok, that was wierd, seems like it gave me 404 after i hit the "post" button.

    Anyways, Ill retype it here:

    Dear Tweaktown members,

I now have both the ATI Radeon 9200 and also the Asus Ti4200 ,
and was wondering which to use. Which one, in your opinion/experience do you think would preform best in the following 3 aspects:

    - Casual Usage (surfing, typing, chatting, etc)

    - Application Wise ( Photoshop, Image Ready, Dreamweaver, etc)

    - 3d Application (3d studio max)

    - Gaming ( 3d games)

right, there's no question that the Ti4200 is a far superior card to the 9200 :)

Yes the ti4200 is way better than a non pro r9200(same thing as a r9000 with 8x agp added). The r9200 is full dx 8.1 and the ti4200 is missing pixel shader 1.4(has 1.1 instead) making it not full dx 8.1
