Flashing Keypads

i have a flashing keypad. but it has problems and i need help.
when i have it in my phone, sometimes it will not stop flashing, even when there is no signal coming though.
anyone had this problem?

The flashing keypads and battaries will often time stay lighting up for up to about 1 minute after it has detected phone use, also other phones nearby can set it off, it is also possible (not very likely) that other signals can set it off, such as wireless networking. If yours does not turn off AT ALL after use, check its connection to the battary, if it is loose, its possible that its disconecting and reconnecting to the battary and flashing from that.
