Ok, now that i know about my mainboard on to better things, hopfully. Is my processor already unlocked??? If so am I able to overclock this rig??? And how would i go about it??? Thanks for everyones help!!! My mainboard is manufactured by HP, model 0024 PQ1A82. Chipset ATI CAB0 Rev. 13. South bridge ATL M1533. Sensor, 8000. BIOS, Phoenix Technologies Ltd. Version, KAM1.52.

Name brand PC's arn't made for overclockin' and don't have the necessary BIOS options or equipment for it but ya could try a program called SoftFSB or a similar one that may let you manipulate the FSB to a limited extent from within Windows.

Ok. Soft FSB didn't let me manipulate anything. Why? May be someone could post me a helpful link where I could DL it. Or may be something else that might work or ANYTHING to squeeze as much horsepower from this thing!!!! I JUST WANT MORE POWER, AND SPEED.:shoot3:

Holy google batman.
You could look into updating your hardware. It will not only increse your 'horsepower' but it will also make it easier to OC. ;)Comment
