  • Can we FLASH Fx 5200 to 5200 ultra ?

HI, i have a crappy MSI GeForce Fx 5200 td-128,

Is there a way to flash the bios with the bios of a 5200 ultra ?

    my card's default MHZ are:

    3D core:250 mhz
    Ram core: 400 mhz

    it is currently O/C to:
    3D core:285 mhz
    Ram core: 425 mhz

I can O/C it more, the best i got was:
    3D core:300 mhz
    Ram core: 430 mhz

but anyway, thats not the point

CAN I FLASH IT WITH THE ULTRA BIOS ? :)

If you would even have a remote look at the forums and use Google you would know that, as we all do already

Don't comlain so much. My card scored under 100 in 3Dmark 2003. It scored well under 1000 in 2001 (forgot what). And I can comfortably play Max Payne 2 and America's Army at relatively low settings. You'll live.

                      You have no idea....
32-bit integrated Intel 64 MB without pixel shading, vertex shading, or DirectX 9.0 support. Yeah, I need a new card....

It still runs some of the newest games, though. Just not with high FPS or many cool effects on.

I know I can. I was looking at a 9800 Pro for $210.50 U.S. at Newegg, but there are reasons preventing me from getting any video card right now that I'd rather not get into.

Ahh, the joy of bringing something way off-topic and being the only one that cares at all...
