I've just cleaned up the smiles removing the ones people don't often use - You'll also notice you no longer have to bring up a new window to display all the smiles.

yeah, that happens with the stopping smiley thing. what i'm talking about is a test I did a while ago.. I got one of the smileys from here, halved the frame length, so it should have been twice as quick.. put them side by side in a html page and looked at them in IE.. they both ran at the same speed, which was slower that either of them should have been....
if you want to edit the gif's then what you need to do is insert a blank after each frame, then copy the previous frame's contents into the new space - that will sow it down by 50%
other options (if you use certian gif animation creation software) will allow you to change the actual speed of the animation before you save it

Umm.. i know how to do it.. like I said, I had done it. I changed the length of time that each frame was displayed for.... I watched the animations in the editing program and they were so much faster. IE must put a frame speed limit on them or something....
