In Dallas, TX for QuakeCon
Hey all,
Just landed in Dallas, Texas from LAX about an hour ago and have checked into the very nice Gaylord Texan resort where QuakeCon 2004 is currently being held.
Haven't had a chance to take a look yet as I'm running on very little sleep over the past day and a half (seeing the sun go above, then go to complete darkness and then go above again in the space of 12 hours is confusing to the body!), but I will soon and post some pictures up here and in the Photo Gallery as a pre-thing to our real coverage which I will have online either late Sunday or Monday morning US time.
So far the Texans have given me a very warm welcome and I like the style of the place for my first visit to the United States. The picture of Bush when you first enter LAX was kinda different though I got to admit :)
