  • Video Card Selection Help!

    Well I am on a very thight Budget and I have a really ****y card so Im kinda just looking for a cheap temporary upgrade until the new stuff comes out...Or I might just put together a new pc.. Anyways heres my selection that i picked out, If you could just tell me the best 1 out of all of these..And All tell u what I need it for..To run the Americas Army game thats it!, Im not looking for prettyness im looking for FPS!! Ok heres the options...

    Get a Radeon 9600 (Sapphire makes a good one), but not the 256MB version. The next step up, if you can afford it, would be a 9700 or 9800 of some kind (pro or non). If you simply want to play America's Army buy don't want insanely good quality, the 9600 is fine. It should get great framerates at 1024x768 or 1280x1024 with all of the in-game settings on the highest setting (and the graphical options turned on). If you ever upgrade from that, go for a 9800 Pro or a GeForce 6800 (non-GT, non-Ultra).

      When i saw this thread..i knew this ******* was gonna reconmend those 2 for an upgrade.
