GeCube costs slightly more than Leadtek. Radeon has 256mb onboard while geforce only has 128mb. But radeon has 8 pipelines while geforce 12 pipielines. I couldnt decide which one to buy. Any suggestion?

Overall the 6800 will give you the better price/performance ratio of the two even with less memory though if you don't have 1GB of system memory then think about upgrading to that next.

      Re: which one is better?

Having a GeForce 6800 is much more important than a GB of system memory. Going from 512 or 768MB to 1GB won't mean nearly as much imporvement in gaming as going from anything worse than a 6800 to a 6800.

But to answer the question, the 6800 is much better. If you can get it for anywhere close to the same price as a 9800XT, take it.

The 9800 Pro is no slouch, but the 6800 is in a different class. Anymore, the 9800 Pro is more or less mid-range/mainstream. The 6800 is basically the low-end of the new high-end cards, and is much better than the 9800 Pro. Basically, you're comparing two cards in different classes.

But it was 9800XT the person was talking about... It's not worth the money it costs over here because of the GeForce 6800, and the same applies to Australia if those are typical costs.
