The 1 Tflop/s level, what type, if any single desktop system meets that performance level? Mayby the 5GHz oc system with raid sata aray hd and since it is calculations per second, the gpu does not seem to matter.
It seems the Linpack benchmark (supercomputer) is all cpu and memory. (?hence why 4 & 8MB on die memory for server cpu?)
