6800GT 128mb or 256mb

Hi! I'm sorry if this has been brought before...

I'm looking to buy a GF6 6800GT. I just would like to know if there's really a BIG difference between the 128m and the 256m models.

Yes very, you would be well off to go with the 256 version if you can aford it, I know it has 16 pipelines and I think the 128 only has 8. So you can see the diffrence here.

It's 12 pipelines, and the only 128MB GT is the ASUS, which is pretty much just a regular 6800 with a higher price tag and different name. Just get a 256MB 6800GT.

Oppes finger slipped on that, but no question that the 256 version is better.
