I realy need help here

i was chucking in my friends hard drive in my PC to format Windows NT on his hard drive cuz for some reason it wouldnt work on his comp. anyway i did that but after i went to plug back in my hard drive, for some reason it doesnt boot. its not recognised by the bios either! its a HITACHI Deskstar 82.3GB hard drive. Does ANYONE have any idea what could have caued this? Is there anyway to get it fixed!

First thing I would check would be the IDE cables and their seating, if that was the only thing you replaced.
