How do you do that? I thought that i could hook it up using the back of my graphics card. I was mistaken. Is there some kind of thing that can convert my video and stuff to my moniter and hook up my 5.1 sourround sound to the xbox.

Here's a link to an adapter. Don't follow it unless you want to invest some cash. I saw various options but the one it looks like you wanted costs about $200.

Alternatively, here are some directions to make your own adapter from an XBox cable and a VGA cable. It looks straightforward enough but you need some skill at splicing cable and soldering wires together. It appears that there is some cost involved in getting the materials together and this may not work with some of your games as well.

Here's a box that you could use. Dunno how good the image will be and you'd have to have the XBox component cable and get a male to male VGA cable.

These look like the options most people use. I found these by doing a basic search on Google so if you don't like these, maybe you could look a little more and find something that works for you. -
