The FX5200 is a low end AGP card and the X300 is a low end PCI-Express card so what format does your mainboard support?

Seeming how everyone is going to PCIe I would go for the X300 as the performance is pretty close to the FX5200 if not faster. They both support DX9 and are priced about the same(in U.S. at least).

You may want to look at the 5750 PCIe version, it doesn't cost much more but gives almost twice the performance in some games, while equal in others.
