    Anyone know what V4pcx4.exe is? RegCleaner picks it up as a startup program but msconfig doesn't. I have no idea what it is, and neither does the allmighty google. . . .

    Where is it located? and End that Task and see if it affects you, if it doesn't I would personally delete it.

      It's in the system32 file (it's only a bit over 400k). I thought about doin the "delet it" test, but I figured it'd be worth askin *before* I cause trouble. call me kooky.

        Strange... neither Google nor the Microsoft Knowledge Base shows any matches for that file name.

          This is why I hesitate before arbitrarily deleting it. . .even if no immediate effects become apparent, it'd suck for somethin to not work in the future for some "unknown" reason.
