need help accessing the bios in win 98

I'm working on an older Compaq Presario and I need to access the bios, but I'm not sure how.There's no option during boot to access the bios. It's running windows 98. I need to reformat the hdd. On my comp I'm running xp pro, but it's been so long since I've used win 98 I'm not sure which key to hit to access it.It's not F8,or delete. The cd rom isn't reading the cd so tonight I'm going to best buy to get another one. Anyway if anyone can help me with this please get back to me. Thanks

If its not delete it might be F2 or F1 on a Compaq.

F10 is the key but don't expect to find much in there.
