Belkin router help

We've had a Belkin 802.11g wireless router for a couple of years, and recently the other desktop computer we have, one not connected to the router, stopped connecting to the internet. We can still transfer files to and from it, and the connection is fine, but it just displays "Cannot find server" page when trying to get on the internet. I've tried all sorts of different configurations for the router, and none of them seem to work. Whats wrong?

Is your other computer still assigned an IP through DHCP? Is the default gateway IP correct?

No, the IP address is blank, but it won't let me set it. The box is gray, and i can't figure out how to type it in.
