  • problems with 2 operating systems

Hi all, please can someone help me? i recently formatted my drive and re-installed xp, when i initially went through the set up i wasnt watching what i was doing and started installing to my second drive. when i realised what i'd done i stopped the installation and proceeded to install on the correct drive. the problem i now have is when i start my pc i get a choice of which operating system i want to use, trouble is the second operating system does not exist. i have wiped all trace of the installation from my second drive but still the same thing happens. i am no expert as you can probably tell, so any help in solving this would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks in advance, Dean Leivers

Re: problems with 2 operating systems

You have to go to C:\boot.ini and remove the line for the second installation of XP.
