Hey everyone. Anyone else have this problem ever. I had it with my old nforce2 chipset 2 and I'm thinking it may be my sound hardware itself. I use the creative cambrige soundworks 5.1 DTT2500 Digital system running SPDIF from my on-board Realtec AC'97 hardware. The SPDIF works fine with the old original drivers but I can't get surround sound. I upgraded my driver to the lates version (5.10.0.5900). Now the SPDIF just doesn't work. Analog works fine though. I've cleaned up and reinstalled the drivers several times. Anyone know why this may be happening? I don't have any other spdif systems except my Pioneer VSX1014-S reciever and I'm not hauling it upstairs. I guess I'll suffice with my I-trigue speakers :-(
