my cd-r is fuked?

wen i try to burn a cd on my cd-r its not found on my computer it can open and shut fine but its not found on my comp and therfore i cannot burn anything ? help plz

Go into the control panel and delete the IDE controller that its attached to and then reboot (also check the cables are fully seated). If this doesn't work then its likely you have a dead drive or you have far to many IRQ's shared for Windows to handle.



Now what driver prob have you got?

Open it up and clean the laser with a q-tip and windex.
