ummmmm and with this wealth of information you expect us to do what?
Please supply details ..... os, burning programme, format (CD / DVD), type of data being burned (disk copy or other), type of burner, type of media etc etc.

OK, thats a start, what file format are the files? mp3? Have you tried a different brand of media than memorex? They used to be top notch in the old days of cassettes but I have no idea of their cd quality. Personally I prefer TDK Gold. You are burning directly from iTunes? (I have never had anything to do with iTunes so please forgive my ignorance here) Maybe consider a different burning programme like Nero. I presume you have burnt disks other than these files you are currently experiencing problems with so hardware seems to be the least likely problem to me at this stage.
