Hey Im looking to upgrade my Windows XP home to XP Pro, where is the best place to get the upgrade, and is it just a simple insert cd and upgrade deal or not?

There are not very many good reasons to upgrade this way. All you really get is better control over network services. I would advise against it and say to wait for Vista to see if it is enough of an improvement.GIgabyte GA-990FXA-UD3

a google search found a site showing the minimum specs as:
* DirectX 9 framework
* Windows Display Driver Model
* 32 bits per pixel depth with 64MB of graphics RAM
* 2.4GHz processor
* 512MB RAM
* Graphics card capable of handling Windows Presentation Foundation
dunno exactly how accurate that is though

Well, the 2.4GHz processor part cannot be right. Maybe a Pentium 4 2.4GHz+ or an equivalent AMD CPU (2400+ or better). I also heard it will need a stronger video card. All these rumors..........GIgabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
