  • Markvision 1gb ddr400 pc3200 Timing Issues

Hello all. I bought a 1gb stick of Markvision 1gb ddr400 pc3200 RAM awhile ago and after installing it in my system started to experience strange program crashes and restarts. Only recently have I discovered that it is due to that stick of RAM. The RAM is fine as far as testing is concerned, but after tweaking some of the Latency timings on the BIOS, I realized that it is faulty timings installed (I assume) from the manufacturer. Thus, I set out to try and find the manufacturer's website and a manual or FAQ that would indicate the proper timings for that stick.

As far as i can tell, Markvision does not HAVE a website. This is very disapointing to me, as one can no doubt tell. Thus, I was wondering if anyone knows where i could find the proper timings or if they know of the proper timings to begin with that would help me out emensely.

    Thanks!

Start with 3-4-4-8 and run memtest. Work your way down from there and just keep testing it with memtest to make sure it is stable.
