    I recently installed a seagate hard 160 gig serial ata drive and tried to install windows with sp1 on the hard drive but get a os loading error when rebooting.
    any help on the problem will be appreciated!!!

    SEAGATE 160 GIG SERIAL ATA HARD DRIVE

    are you sure you are setting the proper boot drive in bios?

      You may have used a bad driver when installing to the sata hdd

      If you unplug your other HDD, do you still have problems? If you're boot order is correct and you used a good sata driver, you may just need to upgrade your bios. I've seen a number of mobos get all confused when a bootable sata hdd was added with an existing pata hdd. In most cases a bios update was all that was needed
