I just installed a Leadtek Geforce A7600 GT and i'm unable to play any kind of video files, I get audio from windows media player but no video, then windows just freezes and i have to restart the pc. Dont have any trouble with games so far though. Can anyone help me out here?

Did you uninstall your previous video card's drivers and then install the new ones for the 7600? -

Yes i have, using the latest drivers too. Video playback was enabled when i uninstalled the drivers so i was wondering if the drivers themselves were screwing things up.Comment

It's possible. You could look around in the drivers and try different settings. I'd also try changing hardware acceleration levels to see if that helps.Comment
