RAM Timings

Hi all, just a quick question
The RAM that i am using is rated at 2, 3, 3, 6 (http://www.corsair.com/corsair/produ...024-3200c2.pdf) Yet on my m/c it is running 3, 3, 3, 8. 2T.
Does this make a big differance ?
If it does how do i go about changing things
