Mixing IDE and SATA HDD

another daft question, i see my SG33G5M has 2 x 3.5 drive bays, and the motherboard has both sata and ide ports.

i was hoping to have 1 x sata hdd and 1 ide hdd (cos i have a good old ide drive. and an ide dvd burner.

will this be ok?
