  • Best way to set up my HDs and DVD-burner??

    Finally got my stuff.

Some changes were made and I ended up with a GA-X48-DQ6, couldn't get a E8400, got a Q9450 instead, Gigabyte 9600GT HeatPipe and 4 gigs of Corsair XMS2-6400C5DHX

Will be running 2x250 Gb in raid 1, a third hd for storage and a SATA DVD-burner. Trying to figure out the best way to set it up, should I use the Intel SATA for all or should I split it between the GSATA and ISATA?

I think the GA/J.Micron is faster, I have tested both with my 250's. And that is what I do, RAID on GA chip, storage on Intel controller

Does it matter which ports on the Intel SATA I use for the DVD/HD?

Thanks for your help, everything is up and running. Just have the "fun" stuff left to do, installing everything as it was on my old pc, it should only take a couple of days
