Re: Cant OC e7200 on Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G

First you for sure need to set PCI-E freq to 100 always

Post your full specs and I can better advise you. I have to go here shortly, but will be back this afternoon or tonight

You do need to set your ram voltage, and if you are using 2x2 be sure you add some MCH voltage (+.2-.3) and be sure refresh to act delay is 52-62 as well if you have 2x2GB

No, there is no BIOS that prevents overclocking! Whoever told you that is crazy, Gigabyte Hosts overclocking championships. They would never do such a thing.

You should use the Latest NON Beta, or the one before that if your CPU supports it. DO NOT USE @BIOS to flash. Here is a Qflash Guide >>>>

Good luck, I will help you later for sure. I am just pressed for time right now and am about to leave here soon

Re: Cant OC e7200 on Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G

Please post your full specs, and what settings you are using. And what you want to run at and I will try to advise you. 4:5 does not make a difference, really but your ram may not be running at the right speed until you set the multiplier.

So post those specs, and fill this out and I will advise >>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours

Re: Cant OC e7200 on Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G

Set this to 100 NOW, before you corrupt your hard drive >>>
              PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100]

I need to know your ram before I can advise you. Please post a link to it, and let me know how many sticks you have. Then I will post you some suggested ranges for 3Ghz
