    good for what?

Games? No video card sucks the lama's ####.
    internet. To much hardware.
Video editing. Pretty good not bad at all..
Downloading stuff and burning it to dvd? not so sure no optical drive listed.

You have a little to much ram for 32bit XP..

Re: Is this a Poor Performance Computer

It would help to know what benchmark you were using.

Also benchmarks are not real world experience, meaning that as long as it looks good and works good for you then your fine and who cares about a benchmark score.

That being said if you play games that 8600GT is not the best card. Its basically the same as a 7600GT which I have one and just got rid of. It was fine for XP and not the newest games on a 19" monitor. But compared to cards out now there is a large jump in performance even just going to a 9800GT or a 4850.
      New Q9650, Gigabyte UD3P, 4GB OCZ Platinum, Asus TOP 4850, Antec TP3 550W, Vista 64 SP1/XP SP3.
