what do you think of the v core drop on my board seems a lot ive had a hard time with prime blend test. with 500fsb and up. with the 9550 and e8400. the 9550 will pass small fft. for 6 hours. but freez up in blend in 2-3 hours... my e8400 will bench up to 4.7.. and the 9550 will do 4450. low volts. im running bios f4. that came with the board.. all temps are good.

Not sure but the new 1.1 rev P board that was tested did not have this problem any longer, so maybe they fixed something

Am I reading that chart right? Vcore drops down to .4V? If so, wow I would suspect PSU as the board should not drop that low at all

But ya, it could be either?

Actually there is no rev 1.1 for UD3P only UD3R as of yet

I would say you are fine if your meter shows normal ranges. Did you test it at load for any length, if that is possible to do with a meter?

Vdrop and Vdroop is a design feature implemented by Intel for a Purpose. To save your CPU From High voltage spike fluctuations at various times. Those would be transitioning from Idle to load and when going back to idle

Here is some In depth reading on this if you have the time >>>
Intel Processor Power Delivery Design Guidelines and Specifications: Vdroop Explained - The Tech Repository Forums

However if the above graph is correct, that is nothing to do with vdrop or vdroop because that looks to drop to almost 0.5 volts from 1.25.

A example of a average vdrop and vdroop would look like this >>>

                    BIOS Setting .................................................. 1.25
                    Windows CPU Voltage at Idle.........Vdrop..............1.19
Windows CPU Voltage at Load .......Vdroop............1.14
