hi could you help me ia m stupid about this iam running xp windows and i would like to update my motherboard bios gig ga-ma-78gm-s2h i can download the bios but how do i transfer it into my motherboard

Don't do it thru windows thats for sure
AND if you don't know what you are doing don't do it.
