Anyone share the following Gigabyte "Quality" issues?

The 4 pin fan header (Sys Fan 1) doesn't work with 4 pin PWM fans (like Arctic Cooling 12025). The power pin has only 6V on it (should be 12V) and the PWM pin has no PWM signal present. So it doesn't work at all. Nice feature.

The DDR2 voltage is far too high. With 1.8V DDR2 RAM (Nanya or Kingston), the motherboard sets the DDR2 voltage to 1.97V and there is no way to manually correct it. Novel. Bye Bye Warranty.

The CPU temp calibration in the BIOS is 4-5 degrees too high. In no way should the Core temps ever be below the CPU temp. That's a first.

Disappointing. GBT technical are sort-of on the case.

From your manual (UD4P anyway, not sure which you have) I see your Sys_Fan1 is not a PWM Header, so you need to use a 3Pin on it. The manual shows the 4th pin to be reserved and not speed control as per a PWM would have

As for your memory voltage issue, have you tried the current latest BIOS? Any Beta's? Any older BIOS? Have you tested manually setting the voltages, sometimes Auto is way to much, of course also sometimes manual can be more then expected as well but this variance usually differs between BIOS versions and voltage settings. Just so you know, memory manufacturers have no way of knowing what voltage you put into the memory, unless you physically burn it which would not happen until well after 2.2V. All DDR2 MUST withstand up to 2.1V before damage occurs anyway, so your ram would be fine even if rated to 1.8V or it does not withstand JEDEC Standards
