  • EP45-UD3R Memory Issues

    I have gotten the new board and imported the 4 sticks of 1 ghz 667 mhz i had in my old rig over.

    However, it is only able to run on slot 1 and 2. I inserted 4 slots and the system won't start. Thereafter i change over to slot 1 and 3 and it fail to load too.

    The rams are all working i can confirm that. Is there any options i need to turn on before it detects and utilize slot 3 and 4?

    Follow the suggestions in this post for basic bios settings, making sure that you first load optimized defaults.

    We need more info about your hardware. Follow the instructions below the bios settings for adding your hardware list to your forum signature.
    This will help eliminate errors. Be sure to include a link to your memory's specifications.

    With 4x1GB of 667MHz memory, MCH Core voltage should work with Auto, 1.05, or 1.16 settings.
