    Re: Help OC E5200 & EP45UD3R

So you are using 6GB of mixed ram? If so that is likely the whole issue, you should not mix ram especially from different brands and models/speeds

I do see several things wrong with your settings though, so you may be ok once you make some changes.

For one you likely need at least 1.20-1.24V MCH Voltage, maybe more. And I would go ahead and set your ram voltage to 2.1V-2.2V to be sure this is not an issue.

Then set 1.225-1.35 Vtt (Cpu Termination).

Also raise your tRFC to 68 for now to be sure this is not an issue, and raise your tRD (Static tRead Value) to 9 for now as well

      Re: Help OC E5200 & EP45UD3R

      thanks for reply Lsdmeasap
as your advice, here's the result
just using 342x12 (1140 mem freq)
      vtt 1.220v
if mch more than 1.20v it wont post
if ram voltage more than 2.1v it wont post
btw how bout my vcore ..is it safe for daily usage?
      thank in advance
      sorry for bad english

        Re: Help OC E5200 & EP45UD3R

Nothing really wrong with your Vcore IMO, I'm running slightly higher with no issues (1.45V just over in the BIOS).

Your Core 0 temperature sensor is just stuck, so your heatsink is seated fine. Both my DTS sensors are stuck at low temps, one at 34c and the other at 39c, but they're fine at load and are I assume relatively accurate.

You do seem to be running a very high over clock for an E5xxx series. This leads me to believe that either you have been blessed with an amazing chip, or your overclock isn't stable. Have you done any stability testing? I recommend Prime95 for 12 Hours on blend as a minimum. If you want to do a quick check first, download Intel Burn Test. Run 5 itterations at maximum stress, and it'll tell you if your system is relatively stable or not. Note that a pass in IBT doesn't guarantee stability, and prime95 may still fail.

Watch temperatures carefully. More than 65c loaded in Prime may be cause for concern, and 70c+ means you dfinately need to back off a bit. IBT temps may also go through the roof, as nothing heats up the CPU better than IBT.My 60-63c load temps turn into 72c+ with IBT on a hot day (27c ambient, no air con in the UK).

By the way, your English is good, nothing to worry about there!

          thanks for your reply Psycho101
just run blend orthos for 2 hours (345x11 to reach mem 1150)
after pass 2 hours, according HWMonitor, max cpu temp is 68c and max core temp is 63c..is it still okay?
          thanks in advance

            Re: Help OC E5200 & EP45UD3R

Hmm... From your screenshot there I see you're running 345*11. That's a good overclock. However in your BIOS template you filled out 399 FSB * 12 for 4.06GHz. This adds up to over 4.7GHz. I assume it was a mistake when filling out the template.

Your temperatures seem good. Any thing under 65c is definitely fine. I'd recommend you run Orthos for at least 8 hours though, 12 would be perfect. I and many others have had Prime/Orthos fail after 3-6 hours, and some at the last couple of hours before the end of a 24 hour run.
