    What exactly does LLC do?

I'm getting random 101 BSODs idle and wondered if this might have something to do with it.

LLC is Load Line Calibration, it stops your Vcore from having such a large drop between Idle voltage and Load Voltages.

This is not the cause of your issues.

BSOD 101 is vcore most often, sounds like you need to raise this a bit. Or enable LLC if you are not already using it, and then if you still get the 101 BSOD try more Vcore

0X00000050 << Incorrect Memory Timing/Freq or Uncore Multi
    0X00000124 << Incorrect QPI/Vtt Voltage (To Much/Not Enough)
0X00000101 << Not enough Vcore Voltage

Thanks. I raised the vcore to fix it. I was just a bit confused as to why it was only crashing when idle.

Nice to see you got it fixed. Now you should do some stability testing with Memtest86+, and Orthos/Prime95 >>>

As I understand Turbo increase CPU multiplier at lower load so it may need higher vcore at idle than under load?
