Broke off two capacitors on GA-P55-UD6

Ok, I just recently purchased a GA-P55-UD6 and I accidentally broke off two capacitors near the video card slot. I know Gigabyte does not cover physical damage on their products so did I void the warranty by doing that? Will I be able to RMA to Gigabyte and get a replacement or a repair?

If you want to know how I accidentally broke it its because my video card happens to be huge (A 4870x2) and when I removed it the video card hit the capacitors and broke both of them. I mean the motherboard still works, don't know if its working fully though I may suspect their may be some stability issues.

you could just say it arrived that way,if youve recently bought it return it asap

Well, I spoke to Gigabyte Australia on the phone and they were willing to let me RMA, I explained what happened. All I have to do is return it to the store and they'll have to ship it to Gigabyte Australia and they will take it from there.

Does anybody know how long does an RMA process take, in general?

about 3 weeks for me,but it may vary from country to country ect

Yes 2-3 weeks, but it does depend on where you live and since you have a middle man it could be a bit longer.

At least with the store returning it you may not have to pay shipping for the return or do you?
