I only use the latest BIOSes, so I suggest it. Personally though I have not used it since I am using UD7, so you would need to wait for others to give their opinions.

I have not heard anything bad though, so you should be fine to use it.

The only changes they mentioned were updated microcode and enhanced PCIE compatibility I think, ohh also fixed boot problems with Logitech G19

Just my 2 cents, I agree with Lsdmeasap, when I received this board the 1st thing I did after the build was to flash to the F6b bios. Haven't had one issue with the beta.

I use a USB for flashing my bios but no reason a floppy wouldn't work. Also and I am sure you know but use only Qflash in the bios not the windows @bios I think the name is...

To be truthful ive used windows i bet 20 times not one problem,i guess im lucky,if i flash beta i use a floppy drive or usb,so my next time ill proboly brick my mb,ill use my flash drive to be safe, thanks guys for your input very helpful here,i belong to many fourms and by far this is the best and i always buy gigabyte mb,s also.

dont forget you can also make a small 10 or 20mb hard drive partition formatted in fat32,then you can save the bios file to that partition and flash bios that way, from the hard drive and q-flash
